I miss Ryan and Rylee

Christmas 2010

Greg and Kristi weren't able to come up for Christmas so when they did come we all went to Mel and Scotts and bombarded their new house.  It fit all of us so well that there was no way to tell so many people were in their house.  We had a wonderful time together and we all spent the night on Sunday the day after Christmas.  Thanks Nate and Heidi for the pictures.

Christmas Eve.  This was cute cause Heidi kept giving Nathan the wrong gift to open for his pj's.  He opened two before she got the right one.

I miss you so much son.  There is not a day that goes by that you aren't on my mind constantly.  I miss your concern, kindness, wisdom, humor, compassion, knowledge, charity, commitment, enthusiasm....I could go on and on.  I especially  miss your kind smile, your beautiful blue eyes and your wonderful hugs.   You were blessed son with a beautiful daughter who I know still thinks of you and remembers the fun you two had.  You were also blessed with four other siblings who love and miss you too.  They have all become such honorable, trustworthy, loving, adults.  I couldn't be prouder of them.   Son, I know you are watching over all of us and we are grateful to you for this.   Many, many hugs and kisses to you Ryan.  I love you.  Peace my son.  mom

Birthdays

 This month was Coulson Ryan Rich's birthday and he turned one.  So fun to have Nate, Heidi and Coulson come home for his birthday.  Last Sunday 25th was Kristi's birthday, today 27th is Greg's birthday, tomorrow 28th is Reese's eleventh birthday and Friday30th is Austin's big important birthday when he turns twelve and receives the priesthood. Hi Son,

You don't know how much I wish I could visit with you.  I miss your daily phone calls so much.  It seems like if you weren't lifting my spirits I was lifting yours.  I am so thankful that you chose me, this horribly imperfect person to be your mom.   You taught me so much.  Your example of how to endure through hardships will never be forgotten.  I can't believe all you went through in your short life.  I have only had to deal with your same stuff for a couple of years and it's hard.  I don't know how you were able to cope!!  I certainly do wish that you could give me some advice from your new perspective.  Life would be so much easier.  I love you son and I miss you so much.  Can't wait to see you and get a big bear hug.  xoxo peace.  p.s.  I think we are all forgetting to enjoy the moment.  Thank you for impressing that on us.   mom

Happy Birthday to two beautiful girls.

I had fun traveling to Utah this weekend to see two beautiful birthday girls.  First, Sadie Mae Rich turned one year old on Saturday March 6th.  I can't believe she's already such a little lady.  She is such a doll toddling around everywhere and smiling so cute with her dimple.  I wish I had a picture to put on here of her.  What a DOLL.  Second, Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter, Leslie, she turned 26 today.  I am so proud of you sweetheart. It doesn't seem that long ago that we brought you home to a very excited family.  You were so cute with all that thick black hair.  You looked like a little Indian baby.  Who would have ever thought you would have two little Indians!!  You are the best momma and the sweetest daughter.  You are studying so hard to get your degree too.  Thanks for a fun day.  Love ya.

Happy Birthday to Meili (5)

What a fun grandaughter!!  She is all girl.  She loves beautiful fingernails, toenails and has a blast doing hair.  She is quite amazing for a five year old.  We are so blessed to have her in our family.  I'm excited to see what becomes of this very talented girl.    Time does fly when we're having fun.  Hope you had a fun day sweetie.  xoxo gma
